Since 1981, Audi Sport has stood for “Vorsprung durch Technik” in international racing. Be it the World Rally Championship, Pikes Peak, Super Touring, DTM, GT racing, Le Mans prototypes or Formula E: With impressive performances, Audi achieved success with numerous race victories and important championship titles in its racing projects. The engagement in 2023 consists of marathon off-road rallying and customer racing. The Dakar Rally with the Audi RS Q e-tron¹ and its innovative drivetrain² is the flagship factory motorsport programme. Audi Sport customer racing sees models from Audi competing all over the world in the hands of customer teams. The road-going models from the brand with the four rings profit from the expertise that comes from racing.

Historic victory for Audi at the Dakar Rally: The Spaniards Carlos Sainz/Lucas Cruz secured Audi’s first victory in the Dakar Rally after around 7,900 kilometers with a lead of 1h 20min.

Morocco Rally 2023

Team Audi Sport received no reward for a strong recovery at the Morocco Rally: Stéphane Peterhansel had improved from sixth place to second position. However, a failure on the final day deprived the Audi Sport driver of the chance of a top result.

Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2022

Following its debut with four stage victories at the Dakar Rally, the Audi RS Q e-tron¹ now clinched its first overall victory at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge – in just its second outing.

    The racing success of Audi Sport

    The success story of Audi Sport began in 1981. Whether it was in rallying, touring car racing or sportscar racing, the cars with the four rings were always successful. The trophies won during the years are on display in the entrance hall of the Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg.
